The Last Month or So

The last few weeks have been a lot of fun. Jonathan's cord fell of so he can finally enjoy real baths in the sink (the pictures are of his first bath). Avery and Anson continue to enjoy soccer. Avery had spring break last week so he enrolled in a soccer camp in the mornings. He loved it and it was nice for him to have something to keep him busy at least some of the time during his break. We also took the opportunity to go to the beach since he was out of school. The weather has been beautiful so we picked him up from soccer camp on Wednesday and headed for the beach. We had a great time splashing in the waves, building sand castles, flying kites, etc. It reminded me a lot of my childhood and our trips to the Oregon coast.

On Thursday Alicia and the boys picked me up at lunch time from school and we headed up to Washington D.C. to go to the temple and to stop in on my cousin Dave, his wife Jenn, and their son Brooks. When they got to my school the boys said they needed to go to the bathroom so Alicia started to get them out. She pulled Isaac out and I told him to stay on the sidewalk while we got everyone else out. Joshua wanted to go in too so we were trying to get him out when Alicia glanced behind her. Isaac apparently didn't understand that I was going to take him into my school to use the restroom and having found a bush he dropped his pants (right on a busy street in downtown Richmond) and was about to do his business. She started laughing and I turned around. Several people were on the street and they all got a good laugh out of it. Well, when you've got go… (as you can see from the pictures its not an isolated problem we're having (the picture is of Anson))

On Sunday we had Jonathan's baby blessing which was really nice. Jenn & Brooks (Dave was out of town) came down from DC for the blessing and a couple of my classmates came too. It was a really great experience and Alicia and I both fell so blessed to have the opportunity to raise these five wonderful boys. We love you all.

Love,

Jon, Alicia, & the boys
