First Day of School

Anson & Avery started school this week.  The pictures are from Anson's very first day of Kindergarten.  If you look carefully you can see that a full day of Kindergarten can be a little disorienting (yeah, he was trying to carry his backpack upside down when he got off the bus ;-).  Anson has the same teacher that Avery had last year which is fun for everyone.  Avery is loving school and Anson says he likes it, but has also said he doesn't want to go tomorrow because it can be scary.  Hopefully he makes it through the next week and then he'll be fine.  Isaac is loving being the biggest boy at home and often encourages Anson, "Don't cry Anson." when Anson gets sad about going to school.  Joshua is becoming Isaac's #1 sidekick and repeats everything his brothers say, the good, the bad, everything.  Jonathan is trying to figure out how to crawl and hates to be left alone.  His brothers are pretty good to play nicely with him, most of the time.
 
We are all enjoying the cooler weather and looking forward to a wonderful fall.  Avery and Anson are playing soccer again this year (Avery is really excited that they finally get to have goalies) and Jon is coaching Anson's team.  The other pictures are of us at a state park nearby and a couple of Jon's classmates that we had over for dinner and playtime with the boys.  Jon's classmates and the boys had a great time with that.  We're doing well, and just hoping someone will decide to come for Thanksgiving or Christmas - we'd love to have any of you come ;-)
