Isaac

Isaac has been tagged by the Bamafam, so here are eleven things about Isaac.

1.  He has given up the binky (we lost them all and he has been just fine with that), but he is addicted to a bottle.  He gets pretty grumpy and upset when he doesn't get a bottle.  The milk has to be warm or he will shake it and hand it back to me.
2.  He has three new teeth coming in.  This is good because he has only had four teeth for a very long time now.  He has pretty amazing gums though:)
3.  He is almost always reverent for prayer (at least food prayers).  He can be crying for food, but as soon as the prayer starts, he quiets right down, waits to hear "in the name of Jesus Christ," and then says "men"
4.  He likes to cheap shot his brothers whenever he gets a chance.  If they are lying on the ground, he will fall on them and try to wrestle them.  If they are crying or are sad, he will hit them on the head (I think he knows they will not retaliate when they are sad). If they walk by and he is in the mood to wrestle, he will grab them and hang on until he falls down or he drags them down with him.
5.  He LOVES treat time and knows where the "pumpkin treats" (Halloween buckets that we use for treats) are.  He gets so excited when I pull them out, and I can't help but let him have one even if he didn't eat much lunch or dinner.
6.  He loves to share his treats with his brothers.  He really likes suckers, and I can't tell what he likes more; eating the sucker or holding it up for his brothers to have licks.
7.  He really likes to cuddle and rock before he goes to sleep.  He is the fist child who has been like this, and although it takes time, it's really fun to have a cuddler.
8.  He enjoys getting his shoes and everyone else's shoes when it is time to go somewhere.  Even if  the shoes are right by the person to whom they belong, he insists on picking them up and handing them to their owner.  He gets really mad if we don't let him give us the shoes.
9.  He LOVES my hair and is always trying to caress it.  He likes to "silk" it while he drinks his bottle.
10.  He looks a lot like his dad did when he was little--more than any of our other boys.  I have finally seem a few pictures of Jon when he was about Isaac's age, and the similarity is quite remarkable.  It shouldn't be too surprising I guess since I always thought Isaac was such a good mix of Avery and Anson.
11.  He is very attached to his mom and dad and is very stranger shy.  If anyone tries to talk to him, he heads straight for mom.  Every once in a while he'll surprise me by initiating a friendly hello or goodbye to someone, but usually he just looks at people like he wished they would just go away when they try to say hi to him.  Hopefully he'll break out of this soon and be more open to other people.
